Data and Privacy Policy

Quantmetrics Capital Management LLP (“Quantmetrics”) and its service providers may control or process your personal data. This notice provides information regarding your personal information (defined as “personal data” under applicable privacy laws and describes the way the Quantmetrics will process your personal information, and for what purposes. This notice also describes your privacy rights under applicable privacy laws including, where applicable, under General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR“) and other UK and European data privacy laws and applicable US privacy laws (the “Privacy Laws”) and how we protect your personal information.

Please note that by submitting personal information you are consenting to such information being processed for the purposes referred to above. You also agree that Quantmetrics has the right to use and store such data on its internal systems and to transfer it to its associates and affiliates, whether inside or outside the European Union, for the purpose of providing services to you. You should also be aware that the level of protection in relation to the processing of personal data may not be the same in countries outside the European Union as in the United Kingdom.

The information collected

Quantmetrics and its service providers may obtain and keep personal information about you, such information may include your name, date of birth, address, occupation, nationality and other contact details, social security number, tax or other identification number, identity documents and information about your income, assets and other financial information.

Purpose of the information that we collect

We will collect your personal information to meet our contractual obligations, our statutory obligations and/or the legitimate interests of Quantmetrics and for other purposes for which Quantmetrics has a lawful basis under the Privacy Laws, including: (i) for compliance with legal and regulatory requirements such as regulations aimed at prevention of money laundering or terrorist financing or “Know your Customer” requirements, (ii) to verify the status and / or eligibility of investors for Fund investments (iii) for compliance with global tax reporting requirements; (iv) for other legitimate business interests.

Disclosure of your Information to third parties

Quantmetrics, in accordance with the above, may share your personal information with third parties. For example, we may share your personal information with (i) other service providers, (ii) professional advisers such as law firms and accountancy firms and (c) courts and regulatory, tax and governmental authorities. These third parties themselves will be responsible for their use and security of your personal data.

Personal data held outside the EEA

If your personal information is processed by third parties outside the EEA, Quantmetrics will undertake to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to adequately protect your data, as required by applicable law. Specifically, including the execution of standard contractual clauses if the recipients are not located in a country with adequate data protection laws or certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield framework.

Data Retention

Quantmetrics will retain your personal information for a period of at least six years or longer if required by legal obligations.

Your rights and your personal data

As an individual you have certain rights relating to Quantmetrics’ retention of your personal information.

You are able to (i) determine if Quantmetrics holds personal information about you and to subsequently access such data; (ii) request the correction of your personal information if incorrect; (iii) request the deletion of your personal information; and (iv) request the restriction of processing concerning you.
